Brief Introduction

During my graduate schooling I have had the chance to talk with many school librarians about varying subjects that are both near and dear to me, and near and dear to the profession in general.  Something struck me, after hearing of my interest in comics and graphic novels many would ask me what I would recommend for their school.  Perhaps there are not that many of us in the profession who enjoy the visual storytelling art of that particular medium, but one thing is for certain: kids love them, teens love them, and above all it gets them to read.

In this blog it is my hope to share with my fellow librarians various comics and graphic novels of note.  Perhaps they are a great fit for your library, perhaps not, but I will strive to detail what I can and address issues and questions one would have when making such decisions.
